Freedom a Sunday-School lesson

a Sunday school lesson about freedom
starting in Egypt, with freedom from slavery

and freedom from worshiping idols

The plagues were not random but targeted certain "gods"
like the frog-headed god was targeted with a plague of frogs

the cattle had all kinds of boils

and the god who was supposed to protect the Pharaoh's offspring couldn't

with play-dough we made "freedom pictures

freedom comes in all shapes and sizes

but the best kind of freedom is freedom from sin

and that comes through Jesus Christ

Dishwasher

Peter came to make sure we can plug in the new appliance

somehow we need new appliances once in a while
we have lots of stuff plugged in with surge protectors
yesterday the power went out and came back with a boom
wonder what appliance we need to replace next

A Cardinal and a woodpecker

today the Cardinal was a the feeder
love my new camera lens

Trying to focus on the eye
I took these pictures while talking to Olga on FaceTime

We've had a couple of Woodpeckers all year

Birds at our Feeder

I love Cardinals and when I saw one by our window
I filled up the feeder again

The Cardinal has been rare but

there have been several Blue Jays

They are kind of fun to watch

and to photograph

the nuthatches have been there all the time
at the peanut feeder

but I like to get more time to take better pictures of these little guys

Home over Iceland

leaving my parents

Flying with Iceland Air

 Flying over the harbour

Bye, bye
we even could see the afsluit-dijk

Iceland, you can have a stopover there and explore
the blue lagoon and the golden circle
were the recommendations

Iceland air is less expensive
but they don't serve food, but you can buy it for a few bucks

We ate at the airport,
I had smoked salmon with a yummy sauce
Marc had lobster pizza...
...only in Iceland
