uninvited guests

With the warmer weather we had a family of mice move in. They kept eating my peanut butter and not getting trapped.
So I changed traps. We were already successful once.

Jesus' birthday celebration

This is the one song a year that people who know the Dutch language a little (klein beetje) sing in Dutch because it sings easier. All others sing English and this mix of languages makes a "joyful noise"

Not dreaming

We don't have to dream of a white Christmas anymore. It is white, coast to coast. The last time that happened was 1971

The weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful

And since we've no place to go

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Every knee shall bow

School Christmas concert

It started with th "Huron carol" on the recorder

These 2 elves were great!
The singing was wel directed. The kids started together and it sounded pretty good!
Silent night was sung and acted out with white gloves and blue light.
very creative but hard to capture on picture.
We also had the Reindeer pockey (hockey pockey) that was a big hit and Mrs. C's class had obviously put a lot of work in it.
Not once did I look on my watch to see if it was almost over.

Brunch

Coffee-Break Brunch

We played a game. Guess what is in the bag.
These are some of the items we had to guess

We had fun!

Extreme temperatures

With lots of wind and high temperatures of 8C the lawn started to reappear.
The snow melted so fast that there was water in the fields.
Later in the day it went to -10C again.

Les Amis and Friends

Put a little unknown fact about your life (that you don't mind sharing) on a piece of paper

collect the papers and distribute again. Try to find the person that matches the fact.
It was great fun!
