Stove pickup

 

we picked up a stove

and had a nice visit

it wasn't warm but still nice

we did see the others too

but they didn't make it in the pictures

they played so well

Lake Front

 

When the ice melted we temporarily

had a lakefront property 

Palm Sunday

 

loved the decorated front of the church

specially the cross

and this time the adults got to wave palm branches

Swans

 

It's been 12 days ago already we saw these swans

Hoped to see more, but didn't see any closer by

Spring!

Polish soldier tree Owen Sound

 

there was a long road section

some of us went to get the cars changed at this time

then we came to the tree

the Polish Soldier tree

we don't read polish

but there is a sign

carved during WW2

in the creek there was large salmon

less snow/ice here

but still enough to see where the trail goes

hiking east of Owen Sound 2

 

hiking on the road we saw a little snake

likely a milk snake

only a few stiles to climb

this section was not as icy

nice point for a break

but before we came to the next road

it was icy

and such a joy to hike 

between high rock walls

we cleaned our icers in the water

almost 20C but still lots of ice

icers on our shoes helped a lot

it was a beautiful day

lots of sunshine

but wwe had to look at our feet a lot

loved the rocks 

we went up the tower for a view even to the lake

Wedding Shower

 

On Sunday afternoon we had a small wedding shower

but a real one

with games

and yummy snacks

get to know Corinne a bit better

we laught

and socialized

so glad we could be outside

such a nice afternoon

Back to the bush

 

Rien is going back to the bush again

cutting some fallen trees

New Flooring and more painting
