the corn looks good

it has been dry

but sometimes we get a bit of rain

the corn is shaped

 to funnel every bit of water to it's roots

Demolition Derby Listowel

first contest for the best decorated car

Marc's looks nice

but this guy had a working Ferris wheel

start of the derby

most are regulars

the fuel line popped off

so first round didn't take long

pulled out 

work on it to get ready for the next round

every round starts with count down and 

a "kiss" between the cars

Marc's car can likely do another derby

a popular place

even at 9 am there's quite a few people

It was way warmer here that at the campsite

for a little while there were no people

and a guy offered to take our picture

we brought coffee

it was nice just sitting there

Halfway Log Dump to CraneLake road

Cranelake Road has a significant washout  

looking if we can make it through

we're going, but small cars would have a tough time

lots of rocks in this part

up and down

suddenly a rattle snake

half of the group had passed it already

shelter with a coat and a shoelace 

after high dump the road is easy

lots of mosquitoes though

almost there

made it!
