Cataract Trail

We walked from Hillsburg to Bellwood

It is a wide trail, great for biking

Most parts were protected from the wind

Houses we did see seemed to be well kept
for the more affluent people

water was running fast

still a bit of snow

first flower

seems a bit overdone

we hiked 15km

put my feet in the cold water for a bit

Almost done, I have a nice big blister,
but hope to go again in 2 weeks

SHIP; Is anything beyond Forgiveness?

our topic was: "Is anything beyond forgiveness?"

Angie works on multiple levels

Megan found these cute little blackboards

Ben Volman spoke. His parents were holocaust survivors.
He talked about Simon Wiesentaler being asked to forgive. He couldn't and walked away. Corrie ten Boom had a guard from their concentration camp come up and ask for forgiveness and wanted to shake her hand. She only could in God's strength. and when she did she felled this warmth going from her head to her fingers. (this sure doesn't happen all the time when you forgive someone) Forgiveness is not a feeling, it is an action.

the one thing I remember most is that Corrie ten Boom worked a lot with victims and those that were able to forgive went on to a more fulfilling life. Those that couldn't forgive were crippled mentally and physically

Adding 2 feet to the Bunk silo Walls

Our bunk silo gets filled to the top usually

So we are adding 2 feet of cement to the walls

First holes are drilled

Rebar is placed in it with some kind of cement glue

Boards are set up

the cemnt truck arrives

It's the one with the belt

The filling goes quite fast

They vibrate the cement with this machine to avoid air bubbles
