friends came along to celebrate

met another group of hikers

threatening skies but no rain

House hunting

we have been looking for a house in Brantford

that would suit Olga and Stephen's family

there is lots for sale, but if it's good like this one

it's sold next time you're in town

some are better for students

some are not great for small kids

some are 3 houses down from were Wayne Gretzky grew up

here you have to go through the basement to go outside

this house is 2 years old but the screen door is shredded

likely done by the dog

This house too needs some care

and so does this one

a similar one a few streets over was well taken care off

that's the one we liked

The corn looks great

In dry years the alfalfa is still growing

now with the rain the grass will come too

Tractor Pull

All kinds of colour tractors participated

when they announced past 1AM that there were still 50 tractors to go

most people gave up and left, before this was full

1" short of 3rd place

they lost but had fun

shortage of players, so Jeff's dad played

made it to 1st base

Listowel parade

Carmen won the contest after the parade

lots of old tractors 

Marc doesn't have a derby car this year

our neighbour Paul

Fun when you know some people in the parade

there was not as much green this year

some tractors were shiny

others could use some paint

Elijah would love a parade like this

who knows, maybe next year
