Quilts

At Stephen's church there were prayer quilts
you could pray for the people who were getting the quilts
then you could make a knot to tie the quilts

this one was for the baby being baptized that morning

Walk around Holland MI

This is where Olga studies
Western Theological Seminary

The school seen from the 6th floor of the library

The trees in Holland are still beautiful

There is a train and you can hear it during the night
several times!

Important point of (student) interest
Froggys; burgers, dogs and fries

There are 150 churches in Holland

This actually looks like Holland the Netherlands

The windmill

and the ducks

They have nice metal statues around the city

Student housing an intentional community
good place to live

Watkins Glenn and Letchworth State Park

Gwen and I went to Watkins Glenn, a very deep gorge

There are 19 waterfalls

It was a place you have to experience by walking in the gorge
behind some falls and climbing out of it

The next stop, Letchworth State Park
At the lower falls walking far enough you could see
a double rainbow when you looked back

The highest falls with the railroad bridge

Driving in Lancaster County

We had pretzels freshly baked
This is our driver, we were the only people taking a tour
from 4 hotels

JD without tires
The tractors are used around the farm for power
In the field it's horses

A phone booth

The church wagon, holding the benches
it travels from house to house, where the next meeting is

All the roads were paved, most houses were close to the roads
no ditches, the roads were curving a lot

Next morning sun again, laundry on the lines
some had their laundry line hooked up to a hydro pole

Tobacco hanging in the barn
It looks like 2 quilted pillow cases on the laundry line

Tobacco Field rest product

We only saw one open buggy, all the others were closed and coloured gray

Just before leaving the country site we saw this guy in the field, only one day after the rain
