We went to Eriau

Had a nice meal

Every evening we had a campfire 

Some went swimming 

All played cards

We had a bag tournament 

It was fun 

Hotdogs for lunch

Annette is trying to find the entrance to the boardwalk 

It was still there

We could see Eriau

It’s a nice trail to bike

The stops are a little overgrown 

We checked for ticks, didn’t see any 

Lots of monarch butterflies

Northern lights

One of our friends got a text that the northern lights were out

We’re at Rondeau so pretty far south, my App said 1% change, but

They were not visible with the naked eye

The camera did see them

 

At the Farm

Asked what the best part was from their week here

Holding kittens was the answer 

We sold some animals to Quebec the trailer is so large

We need to load the in our trailer first

Because their trailer is to big to back up to the loading dock

To see the trailer come was the reason to go to the barn

But the kittens were the highlight 

 

Toronto Zoo

A highlight was the flamingo exhibit

the girls loved it

they sound like geese

 

It was a bit of a rainy day

but the animals didn't mind

Done! It was agood day

By the pond

Some visitors came

trying to stop the reeds from invading the beach

It was cool but some kids were still swimming 

And playing with sand

Out of the wind you could use shade
