Fall Colours

It's beautiful everywhere

The tree in the pasture is brilliantly orange

there was still enough to make it worth while

Thanksgiving

 It's Thanksgiving

In our Bible Study we looked at Deuteronomy 28

With all kinds of curses that would come

28:47 Because you did not serve the LORD your God
with joy and a glad heart, for the abundance of all things

The Stats

The Harvest-4-Hunger world-record attempt this afternoon near Monkton has wrapped up. Over 120 combines of all shapes, sizes and vintages harvested 160 acres of soybeans in less than 12 minutes in an effort to set a world record

The Monkton event is a fundraiser for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank with hopes of raising about $200,000

Combine for Hunger record

In the middle of field they set up bleachers

The combine for hunger record

The media had a great view on land...

...and in the air

Set...Ready...Go!

It was kind of Cool

To see this many combines

It sure was dusty

The Rain comes Early

I would love the sky better on a different day

Not when we're doing corn

We keep going

Unfortunately it rains before we're done

It was cold and wet on Friday

Back & Forth with the Loader

The corn fields

One bunk is full and Rien moves some old corn

In front of the Haylage so it's easier for the cows to
adjust to new  fermented feed
