Combine Corn

 

combines are busy

the corn is still a tat wet, but it's a go

quantity and quality are good

1 round fits nice

doesn't take many loads to fill

friends

unloading goes quickly

Grand kids

 

we went to the orthodontist 

the water cooler in the waiting room

was great for entertainment

then we had to wait for a long time

so there was a bit of pushing around

and getting in each other's space

but overal the kids were really good

they cleaned up, did piano and were generally nice

It was evening and it was morning

 

such pretty skies

love the view we have

Noisy River to side road 12/13

 

parked the car at an unofficial parking lot

started beside a field

passed a ruin

the slippery path went down to this creek

a walk on a winter road

quite a few board walks, we stopped here 

nice dry boards to sit on our break

still a bit of snow out here

lots of bush but also fields

a bench in the sun out of the wind

with this view

this was a very nice view, but a bit windy

beside another field towards the car

Hockey

 

we went to see Corinne play

she's the goaly 

very active job

it was fun

Bottle lamb

 

you can hear him from afar

our bottle lamb

his sister is accepted and is not on a bottle

they're always pushing him around

now I feed where the creep feeder is

Golden

 

Riah was super excited for her birthday

her mom made unicorn cupcakes

Painting

Gladys brought some canvasses

and invited us to a paint session

we followed a video on screen as to how to paint

this was the one Emma and I tried

Emma finished, I still have to do the tree in front

there was a variety

love this one

Craft weekend

 

The Poot girls came together for a craft weekend

we checked out what others were doing

the whole basement had a humming sound

all kinds of conversations going on

sisters working on separate projects, but connecting

we had our meals upstairs, 

we could follow Trevor's progress hauling manure

we went for a walk in the bush, 

this is where a lot of Ash trees were cut

some of the girls had fun feeding our bottle lamb

we had 2 babies

they were cute

some serious crafting going on

lots of different projects

Corinne had a busy weekend, but still showed up for a bit
