Red sky in the Morning...

Rien called me out of bed, so I could see the beautiful sky
it had been even more red earlier

a gentle rain just started falling
2 parts of a rainbow where on the opposite sky

It faded fast, I was thankful that Rien had called me

Wow, what a sky. You don't see rainbows in the morning too often (at least... none that I have seen...)

Also, doesn't the 'red sky in the morning' usually end with 'sailors take warning'? (Or am I getting something else mixed up in there)

Yes, In English "Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning" The Dutch are more direct: "Morgen rood, water in de sloot." (morning red , water in the ditch) rhymes better in Dutch.
I can't remember ever seeing a rainbow like this before. It was mostly red.
