Wine in Bruce County

Near Mildmay there are vines along highway 9
we learned that vines should be planted North to South
these were their first vines and planted wrong
over the hill, they had 12 more acres (planted right)
They plant lavender between the vines as pest control
and have sheep grazing in between to eat the lower leaves
so there is more sun exposure

grape and apple juice is fermenting

It used to be called Carick Wines but there was a name conflict

Now it's called Hoity Toity

We almost froze our toes off in this storage area

But it was a fun outing

This is their award winning cider 66 pickup
