Most Difficult part of the Bruce Trail

Our hike was from Halfway Dump to Crane Lake
the suggested duration 8 hours

Hiking close to Georgian Bay

with the emerald coloured water

The first part was not to bad, we made good time

partly because there were not to many look-outs

The weather was ideal 17C

to us this seemed like a very random sign

Closer to high Dump the trail got quite challenging

we needed to stop for lunch and fuel up

The beaches look so good but they are stones, not sand

Here at High Dump the trail turned inward

saw a little "Northern Ring-Necked" snake

The last part of the trail was easy

The biggest challenge of this trail is that you cannot get off
there are no roads in between Halfway Dump and Crane Lake Road
so once you start you are committed
by the way it took us 6 1/2 hours
