Marc had swimming lessons this week in a neighbour's pool at 8AM

Rien cut our 24 acre field when the forecast was rain, but so is the long range forecast, you have to start cutting sometime. It threatened all day but we only got a few drops.

Cherries

We planted a sweet and a sour cherries tree years ago, only the sour one survived. Sweet cherries remind me of my oma deVos. Her birthday was on July 10 and we would climb the tree in her back yard and eat cherries. Guess what we had for desert on July 10?

After a cool night (3 sleeping bags was barely enough)

The boys washed all the calves and we had breakfast in the barn

We took Marc's calf to Woodstock for a 4H show event with the calf trailer we bought earlier this year.

When we arrived Carmen Marc's calf needed to be washed

Paul a volunteer fire fighter was at the farm and Rien asked him to check the hay we decided to call 911

When they took off their warm fire clothing we assumed there was not going to be a fire. The guy with the heat gun said the hay was 200C another day or 2 and it could have been real hot
