Lisa Boonstoppel Pot

We had breakfast at church on Saturday and listened to Lisa who writes a column in the Ontario Farmer. "Adventures on the Farm". Marc likes to wear my Calgary bought hat.

Our mailbox didn't last long. We got it from our dutch friends just over 2 years ago. This is the second time it met up with vandals.

Cantata practise

The choir was practising for Easter yesterday. The cantata is called "He's Alive". Rien and Olga are in the choir, Marc is Jesus (youth). 11 years ago Marc was Jesus too (the baby) in this same cantata. We have done several others in the meantime but this one was and is my favourite.

Lamb's Leg Bone

For Passover we wanted to have a leg bone, so we started with a lamb's leg from New Zealand. It seemed huge to me.
But in the end it looks like the same size I've seen at other Passover plates.
It's drying in our window sill.

dissapointing calf

We had a cow that didn't get pregnant so we used mixed semen, sometimes that helps. It could have been a Holstein or Hereford or Jersey. A female we would have kept and would have added some variety to our herd. It was a cute Jersey bull value $0
