Canoe Lake Tour

Canoe Lake was our start, it's a decent size lake

We did an 1680 meter portage

On the move again

Lunch stop and swim at an interior camp site

We made it before 7PM when our rental canoe was picked up

At the Mew lake portage I joined them to play in the water


Walking from there I saw this sign of a bear

Algonquin

Rien and I went down the Madawaska river

from 'Cash lake' to 'Lake of two Rivers'

For a few hours we didn't meet any people

There are 4 portages on this part of the river


Lots of bever works; dams and lodges
We saw only 1 beaver, the rest were in hiding


Sometimes we got stuck on the beaver dams



We stopped at this rock and had a nice overview


We were looking for wild life and suddenly saw...

... a Bear it was scary when it looked directly at me
