Sorting and some reorganizing before we open again

It might have been Cor & Gwen's birthday
but I took pictures of Robyn

flying like an airplane

and so comfortable she kept eating her rice crispy square

Wet

It has been raining

The garden looks very wet

But in the evening the sun came and the birds were singing

River Walk

Down to the river

The water is still a bit muddy from recent rainfall

wild hyacinths

Beavers make strange dams in this river

from rock lined up, you can see them better when the water is low

here a dam made by a fallen tree

It's a cool place for a hike

a rare sight, only possible in the spring
when there is enough water

After prayer

we dug in

I ate 6
we keep count with the shells

Around the block alternate route

We took the now uncovered snowmobile trail
while going around the block

It was wet in the bush
some places the water was wider than the path

we took 16 souvenirs back home

On Good Friday we saw pictures of the
"Starfish Kids" girl we support

After lunch we had a Photo game

Most of the blanks were filled in

Lenten Breakfast

I went to the community Lenten Breakfast

Our speaker came from Lucknow

I met some new ladies who came to support their
pastor/speaker/CB leader/ friend

The food was also good, many empty dishes

And the singing
"I serve a risen saviour"

Passover Seder

We had a Passover Seder with our small group

The seder plate with bitter herbs horse radish
it brought tears to our eyes

The greens (reminder of hyssop)
dipped in salt water (tears)

and the lamb's bone
the lamb that was slain, to save

The Matzoh bag with 3 compartments
possibly a picture of; Father - Son - Holy Spirit
The middle Matzoh is broken, hidden and it re-appears
to be broken and eaten as dessert

this became part of the Lord's supper;

take, eat, this is my body, given for you
do this in remembrance of me

between the second and third cup of wine

4 times we drank wine to commemorate the 4 promises

1. I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians
2. I will free you from being slaves to them
3. I will redeem you with an outstretched arm
and many acts of judgment
4. I will take you as my own people

The third cup became part of the Lord's supper;

Drink from it, all of you.
This is my blood of the new covenant,
which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins

Bird watching

Because we have this nuthatch visiting our farm
we bought a new feeder
for more frequent visits

Cantata

We handed out bulletins

for an Easter Cantata

Snow April 17

Our daffodils in the snow

going to church it looked quite stormy

but the side road was not even the worst

here it became really white

At home the birds looked very sad
