Doors and Wires

 

It is time, but the doors are being finished today

 

that will make a big difference

 

 

above the ceiling Peter is doing electrical work

 

there is not a lot of choice where to put your feet

 

Doors are being installed

 

I assume there will be a bit more cement

 

lots of dust coming off the grinder

 

big holes where the doors should come

 

we are glad to see the door people

The weather is still nice

 

 

but it's colder then you think

No white Christmas here

Not even a hint of snow

On Tuesday we hiked the Grand Valley Trail

 

Starting between Elora and West Montrose

 

The lines for maple syrup where already there

 

It was an unexpected good hiking day

 

looked  like an abandoned maple shack

we had lunch on this very slippery bridge

It was hard to get up

Merry Christmas

Last night we went to the candle light service, saw quite a few friends

This morning ministry of music "we have a saviour" by Mark and Marc

We sang Ere zij God

A favourite song based on what the Angels sang

We saw many extended families

It is so good to belong to a church

To be a church celebrating

 Emanuel = God with us

And a girl who's not afraid of boys

she has 3 brothers

This is a bit of a long post

 

Mainly for those who couldn't be there

 

We had a few that traveled from afar

Finally time for supper

it was very good!

 

got some big smiles

 

and flying hair

 

These kids love to be played with

Candles that change colours

 

They looked plain white

 

But they changed colours

that was a lot of fun

we tried to figure it out but didn't see how it worked

although bringing them in from the cold it turned colour without the candle burning
