Snowy Owl

Coming back from swimming we took a detour over the gravel road

one road outside of Drayton

When I got out of the truck the owl moved

the feathers make such a beautiful patron 

Spring in February

Snow is thawing fast

walked to the Teviotdale road

we get our internet through the equipment on the blue silo

amazing how much snow is gone

except in places where there is lots of shade

2 red cats seeking the sun

didn't see any until I met this guy (Eric)

He told me there were 6 he showed me 3

he is a professional photographer who sells these owl pictures

 to magazines and websites

Getting a bit tired of the mess inside the house

Church Pictures

I took several pictures at church

different groups

different ages

all kinds of volunteers are involved

what a blessing

to have so many little ones

I guess they took out all the available toys

but no one was crying

so they must have done a good job

and another worship team

so many volunteers makes a lot of sense

we are the church!

Pizza

Busy Kitchen

Getting light, a working range and a refrigerator

work on all levels

Upstairs a carpet is stretched

the kitchen cupboards are placed

and a new water heater in the basement

Dishes

we are doing dishes in the barn sink these days

Shop Meeting

This week we had a shop meeting

worked actually quite well

Ice Blading

Marc is coming down the hill

you can see the brown trail he's leaving behind

leaves the roads a little safer

There is ice on the trees

these guys are working on the kitchen floor

making it level is quite a job

Angie was the official picture taker

all the women sat at tables

every table had a host, ours was Jen

we sang and listened to some inspiring speakers

we had communion

It was a "do it yourself" communion

yummy food

shared with friends

we had a great time
