Wednesday was the day

The door opened and the milk cows could go out

running and jumping, looking at me

real close

they love being outside

this area is quite wet

Monday was the day of the 60th anniversary

flowers from town-hall

an engraved vase from Gemeente Westland

given by the mayor (Sjaak van der Tak)

 who came for an official visit

and we had a few family members there too

it was a fun morning

the photographer Jaques Zorgman took a picture for the paper

Huib is doing a great job holding the flowers

the photographer sent me the original

and a letter came in the mail from 

het koningklijk huis (the administrative office of the king)

60 years

there is a party

friends lining up with presents

my parents are 60 years married

some people drove a distance to come

family came

they enjoy each other's company

it was a nice get together

we took a family picture

Gnomes or Kabouters

My cousin collects gnomes 

she has hundreds 

large and small

this one has the most details in it's face

it looks like the drawings of Rien Poortvliet

my cousin doesn't like to have her picture taken

main product is kalanchoe and Chrysanthemum 

started the tour with these ladies

planing the chrysanthemums 

the pots all got showers to 

stabilize the young plants in the potting soil

on to the greenhouse

there are different transport lines going, here another line

and someone taking the plants off the line and spreading on the floor

all space gets used, people walk on the transport system

when the space is all filled

little cards tell when the plant was planted and moved

these are ready for harvest

another transport line brings the plants in the packing area

long lines ready to be packed and shipped
