Badjeros or Snowdrift

The Badjeros general store has changed ownership

We went in for an ice cream

Interesting assortment

The lady told us that the town used to be called Snowdrift

because when there is snow this town  is the first and last to receive it

a man named Badgero had a saloon here and renamed the town 

so people could find his saloon the Badgeroos

mispronunciation resulted in Badjeros 

Nottawasaga Bluffs to Devil's Glen

It had rained before we started

this lookout is at the 124 by Devil's Glen

I want to go back there when the trees are in full colour 

lots of mushrooms

Golden Rod in full bloom

even some trees are starting to colour

we found some dry hay to sit on for our break

very muddy hill going down with hairpins

almost Fall like

lots of water in this river

New Phone, new laptop ready for College

Marc's phone could not be fixed 

the battery was bulging so he got a new phone

He also got a new Mac and because he's a student 

he got a free wireless headset, great deal

Derby

Marc's derby car is still running after Drayton

so I may still see him in a Derby this year

Filling Freezer bags and Jars

slicing beans

making them ready for the freezer

Salsa

add spices, actually a bit to much

didn't adjust the amount of hot pepper using dry instead of freah

very spicey

but the taste is still good

Elijah has this intense look

kids could drive in these carts before and after the parade

some floats were class reunion floats

Elijah loves tractors

and Iowa is a good place for that

Prince Conference centre Meeting

I arrived on Sunday evening

listened to a lecture by Dwight Pryor

went for a walk around the Prince Conference centre 

and was totally amazed by the absence of mosquitoes (likely sprayed) 

The hotel part is bottom left

Meeting starts with prayer

We worked hard

had a very yummy meal

worked again hard

 and now our efforts are in the hands

 of those who will make it ready for use

 by Classis' come September
