we had a few snow days this week

first we had snow and later rain

pavement drives fine but gravel is slippery

So I walked indoors

nice crisp air by the ice pad

there was an eclipse Sunday evening

but you need a better camera to show the red

Sunday morning, Marc on the grader stopped to take this picture

I missed the sundogs in the morning

the curtains were closed due to the cold

but they were back in the afternoon

Getting inspiration at Quality Homes

Currently our plan is to build a custom home

but friends suggested to visit some prefab houses 

from Quality Homes

a good place to get some inspiration

and a feeling for how plans look in real life

some nice features in this first house

this house looks very friendly

I don't like the entry way

but love the natural light

this house is way to plain

nope, don't really like it

last one on the lot

this one is wheelchair accessible

I missed the porch that I later saw on the drawing

Freezing Rain

we had freezing rain this week

the ice is still on

glad it wasn't more than this

still pretty

especially when the sun shines
