Friends Workday

 

we went painting

cleaning

and Rien cut down some trees

a clean-up day for a friend

ending with a campfire at the pond

Fall

 

Annette tumbled and fell on a stone with her head

she blacked out, likely from shock

because later she got up and walked again

we were a bit far from the road

so it was good that she could walk again

because it was a rough path

because we had called for assistance

we got to meet some very nice medics

they already knew we didn't need help anymore

but they came anyway just to check

Annette even got a ride behind this vehicle

after some stiches and a thorough check

she was released and could go home, doing well

a new experience for us

very nice paramedics and firemen 

Bayview Escarpment hike

 

Bayview Escarpment, does have some nice views

rocky path

beautiful in the Spring

many red trilliums

Not 3 feet under

 

The gas-line was supposed to be 3 feet under

but a piece was even on top of the soil

now it's all dug in

Walkerton

 

Back in Ontario

nice place with lots of potential

but quite a bit of work yet

some trees quite close to the house

but shower is postponed, hope it will still happen

not easy planning anything in these Covid days

back to TV again for church

but we dress up

and take it easy

I did miss being all together in one room

but it did work

our grandkids can play quite well by themselves

and often together too

although some animals were in " time-out" for a while

so much room in our basement

and a full bed in the morning, so fun

First Swim

 

The pond looks cold

but last Saturday was a nice day for a campfire

super cold, but Rien went for a first dive

Tilling
