Hoof trim day 2

 

Monday was another hooftrim day

the stall is outside

and when done they can go out to pasture

Farm visit

 

we have cute kittens at the farm

and some calves

we had some visitors from Belgium

we showed them the farm

they had more stops to make so we went to the pond

for supper

it was a beautiful sunset again

strawberries

i pick strawberries almost every day

our plants have nets but the birds

still land on the nets and get berries

the tomatoes are growing well oo

there are flowers

 

Beauty Bush

the beauty Bush at the farm is in full bloom

we got it because it flowers on our anniversary

from Rien's parents

and the cows love being outside

we noticed all the corners and potholes

a few are gone but she still has lots

we had a lot of wind

I took this picture when it was still blowing

but the corn is upright again

we walked to the bush, there's a pocket of Ash trees

these trees look bad

the Ash trees are dying

due to the emelrald ashborer

the Maple trees look much better

Hay first cut

 

Rien tedded the hay 4x

but it was dry yesterday

so blessed to have been able to make dry hay
