Rien turned 65

the cake Corinne made was so yummy

Our woodpile is getting big

Rien took this picture

makes us think of the comedy show Corner Gas

it plays in Saskatchewan (where nothing happens)

and the attraction in town is the pile of wood

we've had a little snow

but not enough that it is a problem by the logs

so much firewood

 

Sundayschool Lesson

 we used the white board

for our Sunday school lesson

a tour from Abraham to Nehemiah 

was kind of fun

to tell the stories and show where it actually happened

Hooftrim

Dale was at the farm again

so we have coffee in the barn

his son was helping today

Yesterday Dale went for stitches to the local hospital

but he was back today

we got together this weekend

strange to see all of us in regular clothes

Waterdown hike 2

so nice we can hike together now

one of the last times hiking before they move

beside the river

some parts were very muddy

last part was level

the first cars we parked at Smokey Hollow

we were the only people there on this Monday

mostly the path was like this

just below 0C so ideal for this area

so fun to have this little one join us

because that's where Stephen preached this Sunday

this huge bird was in their back garden

we did Story Hour

wise men followed the star

during play time, you recognize 

the farmer's kid

Mono Community Centre to Hockley Valley

 

the start was on open land and the wind was fierce

soon we had more trees around us

we were with 8 of us

cool tree with bad base

only snow where there were open fields beside us

so fun

a good sheltered place for a break

in places there was a little snow

but mostly it was like fall
