The first Party

Going to the party for Henk and Jose

Saw some of our relatives from Groesbeek

If was fun

Lots of talking 

Some drinks 

Some snacks 

Easier understanding each other outside

But the life-band was pretty good 

Off to the Netherlands

 

We went to the airport with the bus from Palmerston 

After a very short stop in Orangeville the next stop was Pearson Airport 

We took the train to terminal 3

It went super smooth and we went through customs 

Sitting at the gate in no time

Food was good, we left Toronto at 26C

And arrived 1/2 hour early in Amsterdam to a chilly 9C

The Glen 2

we walked around this Glen for a long time

through forest

 

cool feature, looked like the rock had hair

so many crevices to walk over

sometimes going around

or trusting these stones would hold

It's a fun place to hike

with a huge amount of crevises

a short piece through a field

Fall is coming

the end of our hike

Not often we start in the rain

but we do usually start with coffee and an egg

this time we even had cake with our coffee

the first part was a walk in crevices, you see the girls

coming through an opening

It was quite fun

very mossy and green

Some kept their rain gear on because everything was wet

but eventually we all got to warm

this was very fun

every time there were openings to go through

we worked at the yard sale

but first we had coffee

served by the Brantford church

these girls were discussing their cakes

one made this one

the other this one

a highlight as always was the cake auction

Cleaning out the pens

lots of loads

on the restored gravel pit

and fertilizer on the other fields
