So blessed

A beautiful evening to celebrate

65 years

Lots of people came out

Still 22C at midnight

And rain overnight, an extra blessing

High pressure canning

I borrowed a canner, it’s super noisy

Canning beans

Mostly slicing beans this time

18 jars fit in it at one time

We will have to taste them to see if it’s worthwhile

Our tree

Last Thursday evening there was a lot of wind

Quite a few trees in our neighborhood were damaged

At the farm there were lots of branches to pick up

But at our place a big branch broke off

Lots of cleanup now and in the near future

Because the tree has a rotten core
It has to go, we’re sad about that
