Closing the Hole

We called about the well ventilated barn wall

It's was a nice hole for a breeze, but summer is over

The colder, wetter days are starting, but
we hope the heifers and dry cows can stay out for a long time yet

Back to School

Marc went back to school again

we couldn't find his lunch sheet,
but he remembered what it had on for Tuesday

Lately we need the extra blanket at night

Saturday was cold, Rien picked a soybean plant
so we could inspect it inside the shed

Crop Tour

We checked out the soybeans, they are colouring beautiful

The corn is still green

definitely not ready yet

Purple potatoes

We grew some purple potatoes in our garden
The yield is low and they are small

Taste was good
but I think we won't stop growing "Yukon Gold" just yet

Point Clarck re-visited

it was hard to get the pictures off our phone
we needed an account and remember a 3 year old pin-code (not)
wait 30 minutes for the new pin-code to work
change the pictures to .jpg to display properly

so after all this work, I know now not to forget my camera

The grapes from our garden are ripe and taste very good
they don't even have pits
