Open House

We went to the open house near Conn
It was nice and clean, lots of people showed up

The barns are big
See how high the eartag numbers go

The calf barn must be a big improvement over hutches
specially in the winter

This is the holding area before milking
unfortunately our robot called us home so we didn't see the milking
The flies are bad and one little hose was kicked off.

2 Guys had dropped in and had already fixed the problem
so the robot wasn't long out of business

Haverim

Jewish music is different
I have trouble with the rhythm
but I like it, also the singing, piano and violin

The dancers had beautiful tambourines

This girl was turning circles and making her dress swirl
later she was dancing inside the worship center

Haverim means Friends and we meet old and new friends
Haverim is a conference put on by CPM,
we went to Israel with them in 2007

Shabbat Shalom

Friday Evening I went to Guelph to take in a conference

Shabbat starts at sundown on Friday.
We had a ceremony to light the candles and bless God for
the wine and the bread.
After we could all get a piece of the bread the "Challah"

We called about the well ventilated barn wall

It's was a nice hole for a breeze, but summer is over

The colder, wetter days are starting, but
we hope the heifers and dry cows can stay out for a long time yet

Back to School

Marc went back to school again

we couldn't find his lunch sheet,
but he remembered what it had on for Tuesday
