Send off with a Blessing

already for the children's sermon the Aaronic blessing was recited

 The Lord bless you and keep you;
 the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

After the service a game show

This is your Life

starting with firsts
meeting, marriage & baptism

some greetings from farther away

memories from Kentucky

some history

and some unscripted heartfelt thanks

a few surprises

roomies

a song

Bill was going to pray but
some sharing from the heart came first

sent off with the Blessing

The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Shed footing

Deciding where everything goes

and cement already on the first day

because we are not on level ground the shed will be in 3 parts
going up hill

The garage has an open concept these days

always feels like something gets done
when they're pouring cement

First Cut

Tuesday we cut pasture and alfalfa fields

Marc stayed home and helped with first cut

83 acres were cut

Brad's merger broke down so we got to use this cool machine

Rien was flipping the outside rounds
he had a nice sunburn

around 5 the light was perfect to take some more pictures

they were done around 10PM

after that we still covered the silo

Crazy Busy Morning

The yard is full

Everywhere they are working

Alvin is sawing through the roof

Adam is ripping up the concrete

There's only a little piece left from the old shed
the panel for the generator is there and needs to stay

But around the panel things have to go

It will look very different

Not sure if this floor needs to go, but frost has lifted it
so likely needs to be replaced too

Bruce Trail Finnegans to Rattlesnake Point

It started with not so easy to negotiate rocks

But most of the day the path was nice

only a little road

going under the 401

over the rail roads in Kelso

Trying out the ski slopes in the wrong season

This is by Milton, you can see the 401 down there

this was such a beautiful part of the trail

amazing how close to the edge we hiked

almost done and still smiling

at Finnegans golf course
 because it is $10 per car instead of $6.75 pp at the conservation area
