Birds at our Feeder

I love Cardinals and when I saw one by our window
I filled up the feeder again

The Cardinal has been rare but

there have been several Blue Jays

They are kind of fun to watch

and to photograph

the nuthatches have been there all the time
at the peanut feeder

but I like to get more time to take better pictures of these little guys

Home over Iceland

leaving my parents

Flying with Iceland Air

 Flying over the harbour

Bye, bye
we even could see the afsluit-dijk

Iceland, you can have a stopover there and explore
the blue lagoon and the golden circle
were the recommendations

Iceland air is less expensive
but they don't serve food, but you can buy it for a few bucks

We ate at the airport,
I had smoked salmon with a yummy sauce
Marc had lobster pizza...
...only in Iceland

Friends and Family

we went to visit with family and friends

it was a really nice evening

I wouldn't mind to get something like this in our hall way

Rotterdam a short harbour tour

we have had a lot of rain here, and it was wet when we came

Oom Leen took a little D-Tour to show us a piece of the harbour

at the end of the road you can park and have a look at incoming ships

Boat going to England

the "water kering" they close it at extreme high tide

Big ships, lot of oil silos and windmills

It was fun to see

Lely Tour

We went for a tour at the new Lely building

we were part of a group, the others were all in taxation

we were the only farmers

I did think Euro 12.50 p.p. was a pretty steep price for a tour
specially because we are clients

Farming in Vierpolders

we took the Ferry in the rain

We went to Vierpolders

that's where Rien's relatives are farming
Arie and his 2 sons

They have a beautiful facility

Oom Leen loves to go there

Quiet content cows

It was fun to get a tour

Marjolein and Alex

they took lots of time to show us around

should have taken a better picture from the feeding

Larry hopes to take over the farm in the future
