Apples Galore

The apples are earlier then last year, these are Gloster

Up on the Bluff, we look back on all the bluffs we have been on before

 It was a day of mushrooms

they were all over the place

beautiful colours

multiple lookouts, most on the north side

but some on the south

some fall colours 

and a boat in a weird place

on Crooked Toe Rd.

Red Sky at night...

I was in the house when Rien alerted me to check out the red sky 

there was even a rainbow

this was on Saturday 

Corn

Driving to the field where Marc is working 

Gaby and Jan are going for a ride with him

That would have been the smoothest part of the ride

It was fun to have these 2 over for a visit

Corn Moisture test

a week ago we shredded some corn stalks to test the moisture

Ours was 27% dry matter at that time, 

we've had some drying weather this last week

but likely another 10 days or so before it's good

Every day we went for a while to the beach

played with the waves

For me it was strange that the water wasn't salty

even Geese and Turbines can look pretty

Birds of Prey show

went to a show in the park

love the owls

they have attitude

the guy picked little kids as helpers

the birds would fly towards the kids,

this may have been pretty scary-exciting all in one

what a big bird an Eagle is

I've seen them in the wild, 

they don't look as big when they are in the top of a tree

For this time he let kids choose adult helpers

First morning a little to late

would have been great to see the sun come up

I was in time
