Taking down Ash trees

we walked to the bush

lots of snow yet

must be getting close

we heard this tree fall on our way

it's a gorgeous day in the bush

one more

trying to make it fall down the right way

perfect

 

Cleaning help

 

after helping to clean kitchen cupboards

the girls wanted to do more cleaning

so we cleaned in the basement

and the stairs

looking at mommy and daddy coming

Sun shine

so happy we can use the sunroom again

just 3 times yet, but hopefully more days are coming

 

Sledding

even opa joined the fun

we had quite a bit snow

the heavy kind

the girls went outside

sledding without mittens or snow pants

it was fun but soooo cold

it didn't last long

Lambs

 

there is the first one, a female

2 bigger males follow

first feeding with bottle

so we know they have had some

they're growing already

today they go out to the group

they're cute

and already at the wrong side of the pen

Leaving Florida

 

we choose to leave Florida through the middle

of the state, not much trafic, lots of trees

not much cell reception, and 

we wonder what people do here for a living

besides clearing trees

we stopped at a dam where 

people and birds were fishing

coming into Georgia, we saw so many churches

and this kind of stores

we spent the night close to Atlanta

with Moria and Aaron

so glad we could visit

Hannah is growing, she'll be walking soon

they live in a nice neighbourhood

we like the rest areas at the main roads

suddenly a great view of Cincinnatti 

we spent a night in a hotel in Monroe

 Detroit  

where we made an unintentional detour 

in a part of the city you wouldn't want to live

last rest area before Canada, there's  snow here 

and we're home

Lazy River

 

there's a lazy river at the resort

it's 365 meters long

it gives you a goal in the water

lots of tubes that you have to pay for

but you leave them behind on stops

like this stop to hot tubs

so there's lots of tubes just floating without people in 

that you can use for a bit

we had a great time here
