Summer

 

Wednesday was a summery day

I brought a chair to the pond and just enjoyed some time there

looking forward to swimming

and hiking on Thursday

Spring is in the air

 

I planted a whole lot of bulbs in the fall

the crocusses are coming up

mostly purple

we've had some beautiful sunsets

the sky changing every minute

we walked around the pond

snow is disapearing fast

the water was high again in the creek

Riah is patient and gentle enough 

she can actually pet a lamb

feeding is fun

the female is doing better than the male lamb

He is Risen Indeed

 

at church there was a cross

we were encouraged to bring flowers

these were our flowers

Flowers were added by lots of people

The choir was singing and the cross came to the front

We like this farm show

we talk to some exhibitors

and people we know

this place was very full with kids

talking about cows and bulls

Lambs

we have 2 bottle lambs

and lots of volunteers

to feed them

big smiles

the lambs look for warm places

the sun

and the heat lamp

they love to jump

 

Maple Syrup

first we go for pancakes

with maple syrup, icecream and sausages

inside

or outside

then we stand in line

for the wagon ride, with tractor

or horses

It's fun

inside visiting with

neighbours and friends

heating syrup
