It’s Stormy

the sky looks like snow

we checked on the sheep

the lambs eat a lot of creep

back to the house

Hanne

Hanne turned 65

her kids surprised her with a party

one group brought soup

and another group brought cake

my favourite cake

grandkids help clean-up

I think Hanne had a great time

 

So Windy

Snow on the windows 

But if you take a picture out of a clean window it looks great

Snow is starting to pile up

 

Winter

The snowplow drivers have a good winter, lots to do

We’re fortunate to have quite a bit of sun

If your vehicle is outside for a while it gets quite white

 In town the snow is piling up

For January the attendance is high, we even got new people starting yet.

It’s so white everywhere 

The snowmobile trails are open and well used

We saw this at a side road after coffee clusters

This guy was slalom skiing around the hydro poles 

Pulled by a horse and buggy 

This guy was hitching a ride

At the farm

3 calves this weekend 

2 from heifers that are well behaved in the robot 

It’s getting fuller in the pen

The snow is so clean, it’s very white outside 

 

Funeral

 

We went to the funeral for John Reinders it was like a reunion. Coleen played the piano, we talked quite a bit with her husband, we’ve been to Israel and Turkey with them

Last Sunday on our way to Brantford we saw many horse and buggies. Some big some small, most closed but some open. There are 4 in this picture
