I did carrots for a while

pouring about a cup into a bucket

 

Riek did potatoes

and she put the buckets on the conveyor belt

 

Checking for the right weight

 

 

In another part of the building, labels were put on bags

Jean and I worked on that for a while

 

 

and piled into piles of 100 bags

did that too

Here in the back bags were then filled

 

And sealed

Packaged in boxes by Peter...

But first the yard needs to be cleaned

 

The wind doesn't blow in the right direction

 

But it does get cleaner

Extra Stalls

This was a passage

But now the passage is in the new part with 10 extra stalls

It will take a while before these stalls are dry enough to drill posts in them

then we'll be finishing this new addition

Cardinals and a Hawk

 

It was very quiet by the feeder with this Hawk in the tree

 

Finally the male is showing up

 

Such a nice contrast against the snow

 

There was a bit of clean up

 

even with a clean yard it is hard to get the rental car in the garage

snow tires make a difference!
