Elora and surroundings

a panorama picture may not be best for blogger

but it worked well for Facebook

Nel and I went by a buggy bridge

bought some tractor shirts for Elijah

In the meantime our boots were drying out at home

Getting wet hiking

a few girls that had wanted to go for a while
finally could make it, so we went

we climbed some stiles

followed through fields

stopped at a lookout with a dry picnic table

but the weather deteriorated, half way between the cars

might as well keep going

first we just got wet

but it rained way more so we got soaked
but we are still smiling!

a difficult week in the barn

we have seen the Lely technician way to many times

We had to stop baling prematurely

things went wrong inside the baler and a chain broke

Tineke

went to Woodland united church to hear Tineke preach
She must put a lot of time and effort in it,
it showed

It is a very friendly little church

once a month goodies after church
I happened to hit it right

Stained glass windows, clean and clear

the church is 161 years old, Canada is younger

Blueberries and Bears

Lots of Blueberries

Bears are not easy to find
they can hide behind the ferns

but waiting for a better picture

and a long camera lens

the bear was way more interested in the blueberries
then in us

Algonquin 2 Sunset at Pog-Lake

The first sunset at pog, pretty but not spectacular

next day was so much rain we didn't expect anything

in fact it was still raining when this glorious sunset started

the sky was full of damp coming off the trees after a very wet day

the next day was a very sunny day

but sunset was kind of disappointing
