First day in Holland

It's Spring in the Netherlands

we went for a visit

Pa & Ma have a smaller house so
the dishwasher / stove combination is interesting and the
washer and dryer also have their home in the kitchen

but the best part is that this is a home

and they are happy to live here

Huib came to guide us to our home for the week

a lovely cottage near the beach

first we toured the workplace, I'm interested in the planning they do

later in the afternoon we went to visit Rien's mom

and after supper we walked the beach

the first of quite a few walks

the kids vigorously wave the branches

then they're supposed to put them down for the story

Marlene teaching how to weave a leaf cross

just quickly

cross your arms for the prayer

then try to make your own leaf cross
