Cats keeping Company

Until a few years ago the cats stayed out of the parlour. After one cat named Snickers sat on these boxes now about 5 others do the same
They also come to drink milk that is being drained for the calves. Often they sit on the pipes so they are warm.

Marc and I hiked down the snowmobile trail to the next side road. They've started the lines for the maple syrup already.

A picture taken with Joelle's camera. It was so good to see her again. We went on the same trip to Israel in November '07. There are still 5 missing on the picture that were in Waterdown too. We have learned so much from RvL. He loves to teach the bible. He spends almost 80% of his break still teaching. Other times we learned about thinking in "word pictures" also discipleship "walk as Jesus walked" and this time about "the Kingdom of Heaven". I'd love to go on a trip with RvL to Israel preferably with all 4 of us in the group. It would be a lot of walking, mandatory practise is 6-8 miles a day for 3 months prior to the trip. We would experience Israel radically different, walking the land instead of driving in a bus, the world of the bible would come alive.

Kingdom Conference

We were so eager to hear the conference speaker that we were the first to arrive and had a front row seat. Tomorrow I'll add a comment to tell what the conference was about.

RvL

We're going to a conference this weekend. This is RvL the speaker, when I took this picture he said: "don't forget, I have a face for radio".

Quilting

Every week on Thursday a group of ladies are quilting. They hand the quilts out to people in need through MCC.
I think the receivers of the quilts will see how much love they put in the quilts.
The river is flooding over due to the warmer temperatures.

Get ready for rain

Late December we had rain running in the manure pit, we don't want that again so Rien blew a path through the snow.

Fiddler on the Roof

Rien and I joined Olga and Audrey to see fiddler at Redeemer, it was very good!

We looked up Angie in her Art class.

Oven-heated plastic

Making a pizza for Rien as a home coming meal I forgot the yogurt in the oven. We let the yogurt "sit" for 8 hours or so in the oven with only the light on. It works perfect except when you use the oven for baking at the same time.

Almost 2x a day we have to dig out the calves, it's a nuisance
But the sun makes it all look so pretty.
