Planting Corn

Opening bags with those stings

Filling up evenly divided over 12 planters

adding fertilizer in the boxes

Ready to go

Brad has a 12 row planter
3x the size of his neighbour
who was planting with a 4 row planter

and then there was this neighbour

Planting corn with a 36 row planter
It seemed big even on this 300 acre field

Great farm pics Anja!
Love it!
So much rain, it is hard to imagine that all the fields got planted.
Hope the farmers are not discouraged...such a late start in the season.
Our times are truly not in our hands, are they?
Blessings!
Joanne

25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,
and a path for the thunderstorm,
26 to water a land where no one lives,
an uninhabited desert,
27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland
and make it sprout with grass?
28 Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?
