we had endive 2x already
and the kale went in the freezer
the plants look a bit naked but are already growing back
in a pillowcase in the freezer
no bugs yet, and if you do it like this
all through the summer there are hardly any bugs

I've debated growing kale, but there are people who offer us kale every year because they have too much.
