Swimming

 

this was so fun

high temperatures and water

what a great combination

lots of sunshine

we are still a bit white

and we often choose the shade

even late afternoon

Florida

 

interesting water tower

It's a long drive

but we start seeing palm trees

we arrive in the evening

in the morning there's a bit of fog

but that disappears fast

this resort caters to golfers 

and there's lots of them

we were at the ground floor in this building

so fun to see house plants growing outside

and spanish moss on the trees

very tall bamboo 

small critters

and some sand cranes

not affraid of people

lots of birds

even a big tom turkey

On the way

 

we start at -11C

snow beside the road

ice on the trees in Pensylvania

but beautiful 20C (evening) in North Carolina

where we met with friends from our Israel trip

we stayed overnight with Tattiana (left) and Matteo 

(forgot to take his picture) such nice welcoming people

the next morning we left for Florida with a real Spring

Portugese guest preacher

 

I tried some singing in Portugese last Sunday

we had a whole band og guests

our preacher brought a translator along

quite a few did speak English well

and we in English with Portugese translation

earlier this week the sun was out

shining on the ice on the trees

we've had quite a bit of freezing rain lately

still pretty

games

 

it doesn't say anywhere that you have to push the 

dice roller with your hands

we went to the cows, they don't see the kids very often

and that was noticible

we celebrated Marc's birthday

with a yummy brunch

it was very fun

Freezing Rain

 

we've had quite a bit of freezing rain

every blade of grass is iced over

the trees are so pretty
