Raspberries from Annette are starting to produce

Lots of plums, last year I ate 1

sour cherries

1 branch with lots of apples

another tree has only 5 in total

and this tree has no fruit at all

Luke 13: Then he told this parable; A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard and he went to look for fruit but didn't find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard; for 3 years now I've been looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down, why should it use up the soil? sir the man replied leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it.If it bears fruit next year fine! If not, then cut it down.

Marc should have been going to Woodstock overnight
but his calf has ring worm, it will disappear by itself

so he might be able to go to a later show

Boys Camp Out

The Boys camped out on the Williams Farm
They burned their used school papers

After a not very restful night

They made breakfast

and enjoyed the view

New Window

3 of our windows lost their seal
2 upstairs and the big picture window in the living room

It opens up to let some fresh air in

City Living

Last Sunday I went to the 8AM service
at the Meeting House in Oakvile to hear Philip Yancey
after to Mississauga for coffee
I never knew City Living could be so nice

We went for a walk and saw these beautiful carved
birds of prey

Even though there is a busy road above
down by the river there are lots of trees

a path for walking or biking, lots of green space.

That was a fun visit with Karina & Josh

Anniversary Fireworks

We celebrated our friends anniversary
Outside at their place

After the meal the sky turned dark blue and green
with lots of lightning

After the worst was over
the house had this very pretty colour

Because the sun was shining on it

Garden Tour

I went on a garden tour in Listowel

This was the most amazing feature
To me it looks like Giant Hogweed a poisonous plant

I could be wrong because these people put a bench in front of it

No poison in our garden, we ate broad beans
and potatoes yesterday
fresh from the garden
