A visit to the funerary temple of pharaoh Hatshepsut
Only known temple with 3 levels, every level tells a story
These look female but Hatshepsut herself was often depicted as male, even with a beard they think because a male leader would impress the army better
Hatshepsut was often depicted as Osiris
From the 3rd level you can see the difference the Nile makes, where the Nile runs it’s green anywhere else desert
Temples are usually mirrored images, what you see on the right is also on the left originally
We only had 25 minutes so it was a quick visit
