Looking Back; Wet Feet

Every Morning we started with the words of Deuteronomy

Hear O Israel!
The Lord is our God The Lord alone
Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul and with all your might!

Love your neighbour as yourself!
Amen

At many places we saw Mikveh - ceremonial baths
they were used to become ceremonially clean
also as a re- dedication
Like Shema; I re-dedicate my heart, head hand and feet

always done in a percentage of "living water"
water that came directly from God (river, rain)

We had a change to re-dedicate our lives at the Jordan River

It was a special time for all of us

Every one of us went in
and got their "feet wet"

and with that we went to our next stop...

At first it looks like an "ordinary" tel

But then you see the whole city in front of you

 Beit Sh'ean

paved streets and marble everywhere
